Job overview
Lascelles ward is a 12 bed mixed sex ward specialising in providing inpatient rehabilitation for adults living with a variety of neurological conditions such as head injuries, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's, motor neurone disease, Guillain-Barre syndrome and patients who have suffered strokes. You shall work closely with the therapy staff to ensure all patients are working towards their rehabilitation goals. Lascelles is a friendly ward, which aims to provide and maintain the highest possible standard of nursing care to enhance the patient experience and is part of a trust, which has an excellent workforce development programme, and a full induction shall be given to support the successful candidate
Main duties of the job
We know that to be the best, we need to recruit, develop and support the best nurses to continue to provide an outstanding service. We are looking to recruit a Registered Nurse who is passionate about rehabilitation, patient safety and the delivery of exceptional quality care. You should have an interest in general medicine and a willingness to develop the skills required to become a champion in this field and share those knowledge and skills with your nursing team.

- Evidence of on going professional development within a hospital setting

- Diploma/Degree in Nursing or related field
- Teaching/mentoring qualification
