Orthogeriatric FY3 Doctor

Fixed term contract which starts August 2026 and ends August 2027. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of a team in order to support and provide a comprehensive Orthogeriatric service within the Trust.

No out of hours commitment.  This post is 0800-1700 Monday – Friday. 

Main duties of the job

  • Maintenance of the highest clinical standards in the management of patients.
  • To work flexibly to cover the needs of the Departments
  • To actively participate in both departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and audit
  • To have responsibility for ensuring active participation in continuing medical education (CME).

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • MBBS or Equivalent
  • Full GMC Registration
  • Satisfactory completion of FY2 Post or Equivalent

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Previous experience of working in F1 and F2
  • 6 Months of continuous NHS Experience
  • Minimum of 1 Year Orthogeriatrics Experience
Desirable criteria
  • Familiarity with National Hip Fracture Database
