You will participate in a range of duties within the Pharmacy Inpatient department and Pharmacy Stores and have the opportunity to develop skills further to support the ward based pharmacy service once completed all relevant training has been completed.

The successful candidates will be provided with training and support relevant to the role in order to develop skills and knowledge in hospital pharmacy practice.

We place a high importance on career development and training opportunities and we are keen to meet candidates with a similar desire to progress.

You will also posses an ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently, effective time management skills and be flexible to changing work routines. Previous experience of working in a hospital or community pharmacy would be desirable.

With training and experience within the role you will then have the opportunity to progress to provide support in the delivery of a safe, efficient and cost-effective Medicines Optimisation Service across the in-patient dispensary and ward areas, as well as:

  • Provide support in implementing developments within Medicines Optimisation Services to meet the needs of the patient
