Job overview
Are you passionate and wanting to make a difference by delivering high quality care to the elderly, come and join our friendly team on cherry ward. Cherry ward is a 28 bedded care of the elderly ward providing care to patients with a variety of long term and short term health conditions such as dementia, Parkinson's, diabetes, falls, frailty, UTI, respiratory infections. With patient safety and experience at the heart of care delivery we would love to hear from you.
Main duties of the job
-Providing high quality patient care to the elderly
-Assisting in all aspects of activities of daily living including, hygiene needs, nutrition, advocacy, pressure area care, preventing decondition, mobilisation.
-Working in collaboration with the MDT. Effective communicating with other members of the MDT including patients, relatives.
-Promoting patient safety and Comte porous documentation recording with escalation as required.
-Adhering to trust values and behaviours and ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to.
