Are you passionate about workforce development, education and improving patient care?

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to join Community Services as a Band 7 Clinical Educator, supporting the development of our Allied Health Professional (AHP) workforce.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative individual who is passionate about developing others and driving excellence in practice. You will be confident working autonomously while building strong relationships across teams and professional groups.

Main duties of the job

 Review and report on the training and development requirements of the registered and non-registered staff across AHP Community Services.
 Identify areas of good practice and development need, supporting the design and implementation of training strategies to maintain a skilled, competent and confident workforce.
 Work collaboratively with the AHP Professional Leadership Team and Community Team Managers to support workforce development and promote evidence-based, person-centred practice.
 Develop, deliver and evaluate educational programmes, resources and learning opportunities.
 Work in partnership with the AHP Professional Leadership team and local Universities to optimise the quality and capacity of community-based practice placements.
 Lead and support audit, service evaluation and quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical practice and patient outcomes.

You will receive both clinical and managerial supervision, alongside access to a wide range of learning and development opportunities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to influence workforce development across community services while further developing your leadership, education and quality improvement skills.

  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in AHP profession with current HCPC registration
