Hull York Medical School is seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our prestigious institution. Main duties of the job

To provide administrative and clerical support to the HYMS Student Liaison Office (SLO), in the administration of clinical placement teaching in primary and secondary care within the York area.

Contributing to the provision of a comprehensive secretarial and administrative service for the HYMS local faculty, clinical placement tutors, students and patients.

To be responsible for providing an efficient reception service to all users of the Learning and Research Centre.

  • Previous secretarial/office administration/reception or customer–facing experience
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of working with undergraduates or other students

Communication and Relationship Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • GCSE English & Maths (grade A-C) or equivalent. RSA II or equivalent
