Main duties of the job

This post Band 6 Senior PWP NHS Northamptonshire Talking Therapies

  • Supporting staff to deliver Step 2 interventions within the Talking Therapies service
  • Providing high quality supervision, support and a focus on wellbeing for staff providing low-intensity interventions within the service.
  • Offer expert clinical support and guidance to Step 2 staff
  • To have overall clinical responsibility for the delivery of Step 2 interventions
  • To ensure National Talking Therapies standards are met
  • To contribute to learning and development of Step 2 low intensity workers
  • To provide some clinical intervention at step 2 for people with common mental health problems, both in-person and via telephone and video appointments.

  • PG Cert LI Interventions
Desirable criteria
  • Low intensity Supervisors course
  • Risk training

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Minimum 12 months post PWP qualification experience
Desirable criteria
  • 18 months+ post PWP qualification experience
  • Experience of a Supervisory role or of supervising others.
