Main duties of the job

This role will be to lead the provision of psychological interventions and provide input from a psychological perspective to individuals in prison with difficulties with substance misuse. To supervise and oversee the work of an Assistant Psychologists as well as work closely with the multidisciplinary team consisting of nursing staff, prison staff and other organisations focused on wellbeing. The successful post holder will develop trauma informed practice using up to date research and develop an evidence base.
