Community Learning Disability Nurse
NHS AfC: Band 6
Trosolwg o'r swydd
An opportunity has arisen for a Community Learning Disability Nurse within the Intensive Community Assessment & Treatment Team (ICATT) based in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.
The Intellectual Disabilities Service, Specialist Services Directorate provides specialist NHS services to people for whom mainstream services cannot meet their needs. We are seeking a Nurse to join our well established Intensive Community Assessment & Treatment Team .
ICATT provides a rapid, short term assessment and treatment service for people with a learning disability who challenge services and may have additional mental health needs. The ICAT Team seek to provide an alternative to hospital admission where it is appropriate to do so, enabling service users to receive treatment and care within their own homes, remain involved in their care as part of their own community and therefore minimising the disruption of their lives and the lives of those caring for them.
