Job overview

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic caring individual to join our team in the Outpatients Department where we deliver a variety of outpatient services.  The role will be to assist in the orthopaedic outpatient department. 

Newark Outpatients is a hospital-based outpatient department.. We provide specialist consultations and a wide range of diagnostic procedures and treatments for our patients.

The primary role of the Outpatient Clinic Assistant is to provide high quality care to a designated group of patients, to promote a positive patient experience, working in collaboration with all members of the multidisciplinary team to achieve this.

The successful applicant must:

  • Have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care or a willingness to work towards.
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  • Be able to work flexibly within the department when required
  • Have previous experience of working in a customer care role.
  • Have experience of working within an outpatient setting
