Clinical Fellow Cardiac Surgery

NHS Medical & Dental: Specialty Trainee (ST3 +)

An opportunity has arisen for Clinical Fellows to join the Cardiac Surgery department in the Trent Cardiac Centre on the City campus of Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. These posts will provide an excellent opportunity to gain experience in cardiac surgery and cardiac intensive care to provide a 1 in 6 rota for out of hours cover.

There are 4 full time consultant surgeons, a 16 bedded dedicated cardiac critical care area and 2 operating theatres. The unit is innovative and carries out the full range of adult cardiac surgery procedure except cardiac transplantation.

This is not a training post and does not carry an NTN number. It is suitable for those with previous cardiac surgery experience looking to expand their knowledge.
