Deputy Divisional General Manager

The Clinical Support Division is looking to recruit a Deputy Divisional General Manager. This is an exciting role within the Division supporting the Divisional Leadership Team and the Divisional General Manager.

The post holder will have operational responsibility for the Division to ensure that all operational performance targets including finance, workforce and service improvement targets are achieved. This role is a key link between our support services and the needs of the Trust and therefore strong communication and negotiation skills are essential.  It’s imperative that the post holder has experience of liaising with multiple stakeholders to deliver local performance targets and support delivery of cross-divisional and trust-wide requirements.

The post holder will also actively contribute to service integration and to the development of services in the Division and where appropriate the wider Nottinghamshire health and social care system.

The Clinical Support Division is the largest in the Trust with around 3,800 staff and an annual budget of c.£200m and therefore applicants must have senior operational management experience, and significant expertise in project management, NHS policy, contracting and funding, strategic planning and delivery, development and delivery of staff development projects and communications strategies.

This is a varied and exciting role for those who enjoy driving improvement through engaging others with a positive and forward thinking approach. If that sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.
