Experience in intraoperative spinal cord monitoring and sleep studies such as MSLT and PSG will be a bonus. The department currently has a 24/7 on call service which requires competency in cerebral function monitoring but training for this, and any other procedures the candidate is unfamiliar with, will be provided,
Regular self-directed CPD sessions will be allocated. There are regular department CPD and interesting case meetings plus access to adult and paediatric neurology MDT.
The post holder will be expected to manage one or more junior staff members in the future. Training and support will be provided for this aspect of the role.
