An exciting opportunity has arisen for the challenging but rewarding role of Ward Leader to join the team on C24.
The successful applicant will already be a developing inspirational leader with the ability to motivate and develop a team to deliver excellence in nursing care. A kind and caring manner in supporting your patients, their families and our dedicated team of staff is vital to deliver this role.
In order to succeed you will have excellent patient care, clinical and managerial skills. You will have experience in a surgical area or similar environment in the role of Deputy Sister/ Charge Nurse and recent experience of acute care environments. Excellent communication skills are essential to this role.
Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd
As the Ward Leader, you will be in charge of the ward and ensuring that the standards and quality of care given to patients, together with the environment in which care is delivered, are maintained at a high standard.
You will be an effective leader and role model and will be expected to provide regular direct clinical care and use your experience to support the implementation of both clinical and non-clinical governance.
You will be able to work flexibly as a member of the ward team to support and ensure standards are being maintained, evaluated, and where necessary improved.
The successful applicant should be motivated and have the ability to inspire staff, with previous experience and evidence of implementing changes and embedding good practice into the culture of our department.
