The successful applicant will join 4 existing consultant colleagues in the PGHAN team (3 substantive and one locum).

Main duties of the job

The Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition service within the Nottingham Children's Hospital at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust provides secondary and tertiary care for more than 2.3 million total population; 450,000 children and young people across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Lincolnshire.

Specialist clinics provided by our team are:

General paediatric gastroenterology

Inflammatory bowel disease

Specialist liver clinics done jointly with visiting colleagues from Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Leeds Children's Hospital

Transition clinics with the adult gastroenterology team (on QMC and Nottingham City Hospital sites)
