At Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH), we have an opportunity for two enthusiastic Apprentice Administrators to join our team.
The role will be the support a busy recruitment team, giving you a fantastic opportunity to start your career in HR. You will be a team player, committed to helping us achieve our ambition to become an 'Employer of Choice’. This is a rewarding role where you will be supported by a great team.
Main duties of the job
You will be supported to develop excellent organisational skills learning about maintaining and developing administrative support systems,
managing correspondence and communications to and from the department.

Training & Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Functional skills level 1 in English, Maths and ICT
Desirable criteria
- English and Maths GCSE Level C or above
- QCF in business administration level 1 or customer care or equivalent
Experience
Desirable criteria
- Previous experience of working within an administrative setting is desirable in either a paid or voluntary capacity but not essential.
Communication and Relationship Skills
Essential criteria
- Able to provide information to manager and colleagues (orally and electronically) as required and answers routine queries from staff/customers.
- Able to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers both face to face and in writing.
- Able to take telephone calls in a professional manner and following up actions as set out in own role.
