Registered vaccinators are responsible for maintaining patient safety within the clinical area and escalating any concerns to the clinical supervisor.
Registered vaccinators are responsible to adhering to medicines management policies and procedures under the legal frameworks for their healthcare professional body.
Registered vaccinators need to support the non-registered vaccinators within the clinical setting.
Main duties of the job
Clinically assessing, vaccinating and reconning the vaccine for those who attend their Covid 19 vaccination and administering the influenza vaccination.
Responding to emergency situations following interventional protocols in the event of an adverse reaction.
Having an awareness of emergency equipment and medications that are required for emergency responses

- Commitment and willingness to undertake learning and development courses as required to ensure competency for role, this will include mandatory training
- must have completed vaccination packages, some experience in the healthcare setting
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
