Job overview
Sherwood Forest Hospitals are seeking a dynamic and dedicated full time Estates Audit Officer to join our Estates and Facilities team at King's Mill Hospital.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the service delivered to the Trust is contractually compliant, responsible for the day to day monitoring of the delivery of services provided by the PFI service providers, assisting in driving improvements in service delivery, development and delivery of quality services through robust monitoring and reporting systems, supporting safe patient care within the hospital environments. Contractual Requirements
Essential criteria
- Flexible approach to work, the ability to manage own workload, including the ability to work unsocial hours to meet the requirement of the service

- Previous NHS experience in a similar role
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Ability to analyse and interpret data and identify errors and omissions
- Previous experience of working in a NHS organisation
- Ability to maintain a flexible and collaborative approach
- Knowledge and understanding of performance/quality auditing of systems
- Able to present findings in a clear and concise manner
- Proficient in the use of information technology and the ability to write and communicate information in a suitable manner for a range of audiences
- Excellent communication skills whether written, verbal or electronic
Desirable criteria
- Interest in learning about the delivery of PPM’s, lifecycle replacements, reactive maintenance, and/or quality monitoring
