Job overview

An exciting 12-month secondment opportunity has arisen for a motivated and hard-working Cardiology Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our established Chest Pain Specialist Nurse team. As part of a dynamic team of three members, this role offers the chance to expand and develop our service.

 This is a full-time post which typically involves four working days and one day off per week, day off to be negotiated. Applicants are expected to be able to work across both sites: Kingsmill hospital and Newark hospital. 

If you have experience of working within Cardiology at a senior level, have experience in managing your own caseload and ALS trained then this role is for you!

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • NMC Level One Registered Nurse.
  • BSc in Nursing
  • ENB 998 or equivalent teaching course.
  • Evidence of post-basic specialist education
  • Educated to Masters level (or working towards) or equivalent demonstrable experience and learning within a specialist area
  • Non-medical prescribing (or willingness to undertake)
  • Advanced life support qualification.

Contractual
