Job overview
We have a unique opportunity to be part of a passionate, professional and dedicated admin team that is focused on creating a positive journey for all Gastroenterology patients seen within our service at Kings Mill Hospital.
As a Clinical Typist, you will be an integral part of the team, providing a high quality clinical typing service to a team of Consultants supporting the SFHT Patient Pathway and the Patient Pathway Coordinators.
This role offers the chance to work in a busy, patient-focused environment where attention to detail, effective communication, and organisational skills are key.

- Computer literate with excellent keyboard skills

- Medical terminology
- Working knowledge of PAS and the NHS in general
Qualifications-Academic/Craft/ Professional
Essential criteria
- Good general education including English GCSE at grade C or above (or equivalent)
- RSA II (or equivalent)
Desirable criteria
- European Computer Driving Licence
- NVQ Level II Admin
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience of working within an office environment
- Quality Customer Service
Desirable criteria
- NHS experience
Contractual Requirements

- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines
