Job overview
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Charitable Funds and Treasury Accounting Officer to join our Finance team.

Our award-winning Finance team are passionate about improving NHS Finance to support the delivery of quality services for patients. We believe in personal and departmental development and we strive to demonstrate the highest standards of financial practice. We were the first Finance function in the East Midlands to reach Future Focused Finance (FFF) Level 3 Accreditation.

Essential criteria
- Good computer keyboard skills
- Good numerical and verbal skills
- Good analytical skills
Desirable criteria
- Experience of using accounting and spreadsheet packages
Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Good secondary education. ECDL level or working to achieve this
- NVQ level 3 /AAT Intermediate level
Desirable criteria
- Willing to study for a relevant qualification

- Willing to undertake training as applicable in respect of IT training needs, statutory regulations and department processes

Experience
Essential criteria
- Previous experience of working in an office environment
- Previous experience of dealing with internal and external employees/customers of the service
- Team Working
- Previous experience difficult customers in a professional and sometimes sensitive manner.

- Experience in Credit Control.
