Looking for a new role?   Ready for that big change? 

Are you a student, keen to start your occupational therapy career? Whatever your situation, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated full time Band 5 Occupational Therapist, to work within our 18-bedded Female Acute Inpatient Ward!!

The post involves both team working within in the MDT, 1:1 assessment and goal planning with the patients, specific group-work to provide individualised programmes of care to support the patients to develop and enhance their skills and independence and promote recovery, and working within our current therapy team including OT Apprentice, Physio Technician, Activity Coordinator and Peer Support Worker!

As an Occupational Therapist you will manage a defined caseload and provide Occupational Therapy that is evidence based and follows client centred principles. This will include assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating the outcome of interventions and documenting all stages of the process.

You will develop skills and knowledge through participation in the Flyer (preceptorship) Programme and other post-graduate opportunities.

The position  will be based at Allen Ward, Warneford Hospital, Headington, Oxford. Allen Ward is an 18-bedded, female acute inpatient ward. 

We are an innovative service, developing and strengthening our provision to include a wide spectrum of interventions including sensory assessments, vocational opportunities, links with the Recovery College, and  more.
