We welcome you to apply for an exciting job in the Reasonable Adjustment Service. We work across Oxfordshire working with clinicians in Oxford Health Mental Health Services and Oxfordshire County Council to support the access for autistic adults into these services and pathways.

We are leading the development of resources and delivering training to support clinicians to understand autism through the lens of difference, not impairment, and to empower clinicians with the knowledge and skills to reasonably adjust their approach in line with the Equality Act (2010). If you have an interest in advocating for autistic and neurodivergent people, and being involved in coproduction to shape how services work and support autistic people, the Reasonable Adjustment Service is the place for you.

It is an exciting time to join the Reasonable Adjustment Service. We are looking for someone who embodies our values and is able to work flexibly, under their own initiative and as part of a wider team. Collaborative working is essential to this role as are excellent communication skills.

This is a role where you will be highly valued and an integral part of the team, with opportunity to use your skills and gain training opportunities to ensure the team is organised, well run and provide the highest level of service. You can use your own experience and skills to define processes within the team and work closely with the team to provide the highest standards of practice.

There will be opportunity supporting with creative elements i.e. developing resources, writing newsletters, formatting data collection and supporting analysis, inputting into training development.

The post holder will:

  • Be responsible for providing a proactive, and comprehensive administrative service to a liaison team, enabling the service to operate effectively and efficiently.
  • Work as part of the team in developing processes and systems to better meet the needs of the service
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the service and processes used.
  • Ensure clinical documentation is completed according to trust policies and this will include management of patient information referrals, updating team’s caseloads, updating databases / spreadsheets, accurately sending out meeting invites, comprehensive use of RIO and Office 365 as well as Microsoft Teams.
  • Prepare weekly team meeting minutes and ensure accurate minute taking of these.
  • Communicate clinical and personal information confidentially and in an appropriate format. Follow Trust and departmental policies and guidelines
  • Complete data entry for service specific outcome measures
