Wallingford Community Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join the administration team on a permanent part time basis.
Main duties of the job
The successful individual will be motivated and enjoy working in a challenging and busy environment providing a comprehensive administration service.
You will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively deal with a diverse range of people in a sensitive and confidential manner. You will have good organisational and IT skills including Microsoft Office .
You will be a confident individual who is able to use their own initiative to manage competing and conflicting demands.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Good general education including English and maths
- NVQ3 or equivalent
- l Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Power Point, Email and the Internet.
Desirable criteria
- Equivalent experience

- Confidence in dealing with patients and their families and the general public in a professional manner.
- Working knowledge of working in a fast paced, busy office.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
