As a Digital Transformation Trainer, you’ll play a key role in embedding new clinical applications, enhancing digital literacy, and ensuring healthcare professionals feel confident and competent in using digital tools. You'll design and deliver engaging training, support live system rollouts, and drive digital adoption across services. Main duties of the job
Provide a comprehensive training service on both existing and new Clinical Applications, ensuring that staff are equipped with
the necessary knowledge and skills to use digital systems in their roles effectively.
In addition to delivering and supporting all aspects of Application Support training, this role will play a key part in enhancing
digital literacy across the workforce. Support staff in developing confidence and competence in using digital tools, improving
workflows, and promoting best practices for digital adoption to maximise the benefits of digital transformation.
Provide Business Change Management support for informatics projects, helping to embed new digital solutions and drive
adoption across services.
Providing hands-on support during critical implementation periods, which may require working shifts, including weekends and
early/late hours, to align with the needs of clinical staff.

Essential criteria
- Educated to degree standard or relevant experience
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, in person, verbal and written
- Excellent IT skills
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills
Desirable criteria
- Training qualification or experience within a training environment
- Understanding / experience in the production of process maps
- Understanding of ITIL
Experience

- Experience in delivering training and support to a diverse audience
- Experience in preparing training materials and resources
- Experience in building relationships and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders
Desirable criteria
- Experience of producing reports for audit purposes
- Experience in supporting people through digital change or system adoption

- Excellent computer skills and experience of Microsoft Office Suite

- Welsh Language Skills are desirable at level 1-4 in understanding, speaking, reading or writing in Welsh

- Ability to travel within Powys geographical area to all hospitals and clinical areas
- Ability to work hours flexibly during periods of implementation to meet the needs of clinical services/staff
Applicant requirements
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
