As clinical lead, you will lead and inspire our Respiratory workforce, driving service transformation and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care. We are seeking an experienced, confident, and highly motivated leader with a strong track record of managing teams and transforming service delivery within the health and care system.
We are looking for a leader who can demonstrate:
· Extensive clinical experience within Respiratory.
· Proven excellence in leadership, workforce development, and service transformation.
· A dynamic, forward-thinking approach to problem-solving and improvement.
· The ability to inspire, influence and engage teams across diverse care settings.
· Strong skills in collaboration, decision-making and strategic planning.
Main duties of the job
In this senior leadership position, you will:
· Provide strategic and clinical leadership across primary care, community services, and hospital sites.
· Work collaboratively with Professional Heads, Service Groups and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
· Support the integration and transformation of service delivery by interpreting and responding to national and local drivers.
· Champion innovation, digital solutions and modern approaches to care delivery.
· Act as a visible, engaging role model, demonstrating exceptional organisational and communication skills.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications and Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Registered Nurse (NMC) Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist (HCPC)
- Master’s level qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience of working at this level
- Highly specialist knowledge underpinned by theory and practice
- Robust knowledge and experience of local protocols and national policy
- Working knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Knowledge of service development and implementation within timeframes
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge of current Welsh Government policy and issues in adult health and social care
- Non-medical prescriber
Experience
Essential criteria
- Significant operational management experience, including experience of managing and developing multi-disciplinary or integrated pathway teams
- Experience of managerial and leadership practices and procedures within the specialty
- Proficient in multi-agency partnership working
- Experience of providing clinical supervision
- Experience of audit and research
- Experience of policy and procedural development
