Pharmacy Technician
Band 4
Job overview
We are excited to welcome enthusiastic and committed Registered Pharmacy Technicians to join our friendly and supportive team. This is a great chance to build your career in pharmacy, working alongside experienced colleagues in a busy hospital environment.
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring relevant pharmacy experience, a BTEC/NVQ Level 3 (Pharmaceutical Sciences) qualification or equivalent, and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). While hospital pharmacy experience is an advantage, it isn’t essential — this could be the perfect first step into hospital practice, as we provide full training across all areas to help you develop your skills.
You’ll play an important part in delivering safe and effective patient care, and in return you’ll gain valuable experience, ongoing professional development, and the chance to contribute to a service that makes a real difference. Flexibility is key, as the role includes participation in extended hours, weekends, and bank holidays on a rotational basis — giving you exposure to a wide range of pharmacy services
