Job overview

We have an exciting flexible bank opportunity within the Health Innovation Network West of England Team.  This bank post offers flexibility for short -medium term specific project management across a varied portfolio from net zero to pathway delivery. In this rewarding role, you'll help supplement our capacity by providing task and finish project management duties across the scope of our annual business plan.

Main duties of the job

The role will lead and contribute to multiple projects and programmes of work simultaneously, across all locally and nationally commissioned work programmes. It is therefore essential the role holder maintains the standards and processes related to programme and project management within the Health Innovation West of England.

Additionally, the post holder will be accountable for the ensuring appropriate governance and reporting arrangements are established and adhered to consistent with the programme management arrangements of the Health Innovation West of England (HIWE) and ensuring there are effective information flows.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Educated to degree level in healthcare, management or a relevant field or has significant relevant experience.
Desirable criteria
  • PRINCE2 Foundation/Managing Successful Projects Foundation/Equivalent project management qualification.
  • Experience of the Verto Go/Pro system or a similar project management software solution.

Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Significant experience of project management.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies.
Desirable criteria
  • Previous experience of working in healthcare, academia, innovation or another environment which the HIWE operates within.
