Employer heading
Deputy Specialty Manager – Anaesthesia, Theatres and ICU
NHS AfC: Band 7
Job overview
Are you an ambitious operational manager looking to take the next step in your NHS leadership career?
We are seeking a highly motivated Deputy Specialty Manager to join our Anaesthesia team within the Surgery Division. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality services within one of the Trust's largest and most dynamic specialties.
Working closely with the Specialty Manager, Clinical Leads and Matron, you will help lead the operational management of the service, driving performance, supporting service improvement and ensuring patients receive safe, effective and timely care.
You will have the opportunity to influence decision-making, lead projects, contribute to business planning and develop innovative solutions to complex operational challenges.
This role would suit an experienced healthcare manager with strong organisational skills, a collaborative leadership style and a passion for service improvement. You will be comfortable working with data, managing competing priorities and building productive relationships with clinical and corporate colleagues.
In return, we offer a supportive leadership team, opportunities for professional development and the chance to make a meaningful difference to patient care within a forward-thinking organisation.
If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding management role where you can develop your leadership skills and shape services for patients, we would love to hear from you.
