Job overview

This is an exciting development role starting at a Band 7 starting Salary of £49,387 to Band 8a of a top range £64,750.

The EPR Transformation and Benefits Lead will lead the validation and tracking of predicted benefits and develop a strategic plan for the organisation in collaboration with service owners for the realisation of benefits, in line with Trust strategy and overarching BSW Group
requirements set out in the Shared EPR Full Business Case.  The post holder will work closely with the BSW Group Central Transformation & Benefits Lead and with RUH senior stakeholders to plan change activities across the organisation and to ensure change outcomes will lead to successful delivery of circa £5m per annum cash releasing benefits, alongside a range of qualitative benefits.  The post holder will liaise closely with Transformation and Benefits Lead colleagues across the BSW Group to collectively implement strategic cross-organisation benefits and new standardised BSW processes within RUH.   

The post holder will be part of the RUH's EPR Programme Leadership Team, collaborating with the Trust’s Programme Manager and local clinical Workstream Leads to ensure transformation objectives of delivering a shared EPR for the Trust are achieved.  

Main duties of the job

Develop and implement the Trust’s Benefits Realisation Plan, ensuring service ownership of benefits and monitoring progress to agreed plan during the lifetime of the programme; reporting exceptions through EPR governance and through Trust 
operational and assurance boards when required to do so
.

 

Monitor and re-baseline benefits in liaison with NHS England to satisfy national process gateways and to ensure the Trust is working to agreed baseline.  

 

Define stakeholder management and change management strategies to ensure all key players within the Trust are identified and engaged throughout the programme for a successful delivery of transformational change.  

 

Ensure cohesive and structured delivery of EPR change management across the Trust, utilising change management methodologies such as Improving Together and NHSE Frontline Digitisation best practice. Promote investigation and consideration of effective ways of working and clinical pathways adopted by other Trusts and blueprints recommended by NHSE.
