Receptionist - Urology team

Job overview

The Urology Receptionist is responsible for providing a welcoming and professional front-line service to patients, visitors and healthcare professionals. The role involves managing appointments, handling enquiries, maintaining patient records and supporting the efficient day-to-day operation of the Urology Department while delivering excellent customer service and patient care.

Main duties of the job

  • Greet and assist patients and visitors.
  • Manage appointment bookings, cancellations and clinic schedules.
  • Answer telephone and email enquiries professionally.
  • Register patients and maintain accurate records.
  • Support the smooth running of urology clinics.
  • Liaise with clinicians and other departments.
  • Handle confidential information in line with data protection requirements.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and patient care at all times.
