Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen working at Yeovil District Hospital as part of our in house maintenance team carrying out statutory and mandatory maintenance to the equipment and systems installed at our community and mental health sites

Main duties of the job

You will be part of the in house maintenance team carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance ensuring a safe and compliant environment for patients, visitors and staff.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship or NVQ L3, together with the required minimum qualifications of a Level 3 in electrical engineering
  • Or an alternative recognised equivalent qualification

Experience

Desirable criteria
  • To have worked alongside other trades

Knowledge & Skills

Essential criteria
  • Recognized Electrical Apprenticeship or ONC/HNC in building services or electrical discipline
Desirable criteria
  • Working knowledge of 18th Edition
  • To have a sound knowledge and understanding of other building trades
