An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated, enthusiastic and innovative individual to join one of the UK's founding  NHS Talking Therapies services here in Doncaster. 

We currently have a full-time position for a Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join the Doncaster Core team were you will work alongside a team of highly skilled and diverse therapists

This post requires applicants to be geographically located within travelling distance to our base in Doncaster due to the face-to-face elements of the role. 

Main duties of the job

The post holder will:

  • Support the Team Managers as required, across the range of his/her duties as appropriate within the grading of this post.
  • In conjunction with the Team Managers, develop efficient pathways of care.
  • Working with practice teams to ensure an integrated approach to care.
  • Deliver clinical and managerial supervision to junior members of staff.
  • Liaise with other professionals and agencies to ensure patients receive appropriate interventions.
  • Promote and maintain an effective multi-disciplinary/multi-agency approach to care.
  • Participate in service and multi agency development.

Application requirements

Essential criteria
  • Qualification from PWP Training Course (Post Graduate Certificate)
  • Ability to demonstrate a range of post-qualifying experiences
  • Registration or working towards registrations with BABCP
  • Substantial experience of supervising others within a therapy setting
  • Ability to manage own caseload and time
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of delivering training to a range of professionals
  • A qualification in Professional Supervision and /or Line Management
  • E of post-qualifying experiences in offering and delivering the range of evidence-based NHS Talking Therapies low intensity interventions such as computerised CBT, guided self-help and group psychoeducation Experience of working in Primary Care Services Experience of working in an NHS Talking Therapies service Worked in a service where agreed targets in place demonstrating clinical outcomes Ability to manage own caseload and time Substantial experience of supervising others within a therapy setting Evidence of working in the local community Demonstrates high standards in written communication Able to write clear reports and letters. Experience of delivering training to a range of professionals Experience of line management
