Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of Yorkshire’s leading acute trusts, serving a population of more than 444,000 across South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire and the surrounding areas.
Hosting three main hospital sites and a number of additional services, the Trust is one of only six Teaching Hospitals in Yorkshire and trains 25% of all medical students in the region, in addition to 30% of all other healthcare professional students.
A modern and forward-facing Trust employing over 6,600 members of staff, the hospital provides a full range of local hospital services across Doncaster Royal Infirmary in Doncaster, Bassetlaw Hospital in Worksop, Montagu Hospital in Mexborough.
In February 2020, the Trust was rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission, an accreditation which applies to the organisation’s four hospital sites.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join and lead the Occupational Health Team at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals. The department plays a pivotal role in supporting the organisations ambitious people strategy through providing high quality professional and compassionate Occupational Health service to staff and managers and supporting the health and wellbeing strategy.
This is a full time role (part time applications are also welcome) e where the successful candidate will work flexibly over the week in line with clinic requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and qualified Registered General Nurse who holds an OH qualification, and who must be on Part 3 of the NMC register. You should have a strong and credible avocation for health and wellbeing, the ability to work on your own initiative, have excellent organisational and time management skills. Most importantly you should have the ability to lead an occupational health team.
