Job overview

This is a new substantive GP with Special Interest post within Older Persons Mental Health Services. The post-holder will be based at Monarch House initially, with a planned move to new premises at Elizabeth Quarter in October 2025

These sessions which can be taken by 1 candidate, or done as a job share, are newly funded as part of our Trust promise to reduce waiting times in our Memory Assessment and Treatment Team.

Main duties of the job

Providing GP sessional input into the Memory Service to support with the primary care interface, review of physical investigations, input to memory diagnostic clinic including patients presenting with low to moderate complexity.

  • Full registration with the GMC
  • MRCGP

Experience

  • Previous experience within psychiatry and /or older people medicine
  • Experience of audit and an understanding of the principles of clinical governance
