Job overview
We are looking to appoint to a Part Time Consultant Dermatologist with interest in Contact Allergic and Irritant Dermatitis and Patch Testing to Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust based at Royal Hallamshire Hospital.
We would welcome applications from candidates across the full spectrum of experience, from those who have recently completed training to those who have well-established careers.

Main duties of the job
The appointee will, together with Consultant colleagues be responsible for the provision of outpatient clinics and minor ops in Dermatology.
The appointee will also be expected to contribute to teaching and supervision and play their part in the leadership and administrative roles within the department e.g. governance lead, audit lead. Such roles will attract additional PA time.
The successful candidate will work according to the terms and conditions of the national consultant contract.

- Ability to work as an independent practitioner in the Adult and Paediatric Dermatology.
- Possess broad clinical experience in the outpatient and inpatient Adult and Paediatric Dermatology.
- Undertaken Contact Irritant & Allergic Dermatitis and Patch Testing training in a tertiary centre and has experience additional to standard CCT requirements.
Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Full Registration with the GMC with a licence to practise.
- Name on the specialist register for relevant specialty or eligible within 6 months of the date of the interview. If an applicant is UK trained, they must also be a holder of a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), or be within six months of award of CCT by date of interview.
- Postgraduate professional qualifications as appropriate to post. MRCP or Equivalent.
Desirable criteria
- MD or PhD or equivalent
