We currently have a vacancy for a SPA Administrator within our Community Paediatrics Admin Team at Cross Street, Burton
This key role is to support to the Single Point of Access (SPA) Referrals team providing comprehensive administration support using IT systems (ie Rio) and dealing with general enquiries via telephone and email. You should have relevant experience in these areas.
You will be expected to be able to prioritise work and meet deadlines in order to fulfil the requirements of the post. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential with an ability to deal with highly sensitive and challenging situations, communicating to both internal and external service users.

Main duties of the job
- Provide a confidential administration support as required
- Answering and directing phone calls
- Monitoring of individual and team inbox
- Inputting referrals into clinical system
- Booking and cancellation of appointments
- Issuing of referral decision letters
- Issuing of was not brought letters
- Is able to identify and minimise risks within the overall organisational risk frameworks and is able to report risk. This includes applying knowledge of role in the wider safeguarding agenda.
- Ensures that service user experience is core to all clinical and service development, gaining support from the appropriate corporate teams as required.
