Quality Lead (Mental Health and Social Inclusion Hub)
Band 7 - Full time (37.5 hours per week)
12 month secondment

For existing Band 6 staff (or above) with the relevant mental health experience.
An opportunity has arisen to recruit 1 WTE, Band 7 Quality Lead for the MHSI Hub. The MHSI is the access point and the first contact for people referred into mental health services. The team covers the whole of South Staffordshire. The role is based in Lichfield.
Applicants should be currently working at Band 6 (or above) within Mental Health Services at MPFT. Applicants should have a high level of experience in community mental health services. This specialist post requires the applicant to have an understanding of the business of the service and be committed to delivering at a leadership level.
The successful applicant will have a clear understanding of the Community Mental Health Transformation program and the ongoing priorities for Mental Health Services across our Integrated Care System.
Main duties of the job
· Work clinically to deliver the best possible mental health intervention to services users and lead by example to support the team in delivering best practice in line with national and local guidelines.
· Lead on promoting and embedding service user involvement into the design, development and delivery of services, including ongoing processes to measure the impact service user feedback has on the service.
· Lead on responding to and learning from incidents and complaints.
· Be an active member of the quality leads network, implementing learning from other areas and leading on areas of change.
· Drive forward service development and innovation using data, feedback and local intelligence to lead change and implement new developments in line with the integrated care agenda.
· Work collaboratively with the Service Lead, and Team Lead in the planning and delivery of the service.
· Ensure policies and guidelines are adhered to and provide guidance to staff regarding implementation.
· Take a lead in driving forwards the principles of Mental Health Transformation.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Registered Nurse/Social worker Occupational Therapist or Clinical Psychologist
- At least diploma level equivalent qualification in sphere of professional practice.
- Additional post registration training.
Experience
Essential criteria
- Significant demonstrable experience of delivering therapeutic interventions to clients within a mental health setting.
- Significant demonstrable experience of working in community mental health.
- Experience of leading and supervising others.
Applicant requirements
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
