We are recruiting for 1 part time receptionist/ administration assistant to join the Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin NHS Talking Therapies Service.
Welcome! The Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin NHS Talking Therapies Service is a busy caring team consisting of Administration staff, PWPs, CBT Practitioners, and Counsellors. We deliver Talking Therapies to the people of Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin which has exciting, diverse and growing modern towns, surrounded by the stunning Shropshire countryside.
Our NHS Talking Therapies team is a great place to work. We have recently redefined our service offer, including a new leadership structure, and we need your help with the continued development of the new ways of working.
You will be responsible for providing a quality reception and administrative service supporting pathway clinicians and managers, working in close co-operation with all staff groups and other medical professionals.
The needs of the service user will be the utmost priority. The principle of high-quality customer care is at the heart of this role. You will be required the ability to work under pressure. Work pressures can include telephone calls, visitors and conflicting demands with a requirement for prioritising and managing workloads.
Main duties of the job
- To carry out reception duties including meeting and greeting service users, carers, relatives and visitors.
- Handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls in a polite and efficient manner.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding information concerning patients, staff and sensitive Trust Business at all times.
- Prioritise own workload and meet deadlines in order to meet the requirements of the post
- Regular data entry for service users on the clinical patient administration systems.
