The Mildenhall Integrated Neighbourhood Team are looking for an extremely professional, conscientious, calm and confident individual to be a Local Clinical Administrator (LCA).
This role will be focused on supporting the Clinical Teams (Nursing, Therapy and Community Matrons).
This involves working closely with both healthcare professionals, other professionals outside of the INT, the general public, and often, their significant others. This role will offer a wide a varied number of tasks. No two days will be the same! Which makes it a really exciting role!
Experience of working to deadlines, on your own initiative and maintaining strict confidentiality are essential parts of the LCA role.
Main duties of the job
To act as the Local Administrator to the local INT.

To be present at the team site to provide an efficient, comprehensive and confidential administrative service to support the health and social care staff locally in the INT in the day to day administration of the service.

To provide a professional and polite service to support the INT in scheduling patient/service user appointments.

To be responsible for the administrative aspects of procurement of goods and supplies for the INTs in collaboration where necessary with the centralised admin hub.

To contribute to audits and reports as require.

To actively contribute to the Health and Safety of the INT.

To manage and co-ordinate the local induction of all new staff and students in collaboration with the centralised admin hub as necessary.

Education & Qualification
Essential criteria
- • Good general education
- • 4 GCSE Grade 4 and above or equivalent, to include Maths and English
- • RSA 2/3 or equivalent experience
- • Higher National certificate in Business Administration or equivalent or relevant experience
Desirable criteria
- • NVQ Level 3 – Business Administration
Experience & Knowledge
