As a Band 5 Recruitment Advisor, you will act as the lead recruitment partner for a designated division, taking ownership of recruitment delivery and working closely with managers.
You will join a KPI-driven, target-focused team that consistently delivers against national benchmarks, while maintaining a strong focus on candidate experience, inclusion and values-based recruitment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at pace, building strong relationships and seeing clear, measurable impact from their work.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Acting as the lead recruitment advisor for a designated division, working in partnership with managers to plan and deliver effective recruitment solutions.
- Managing end-to-end recruitment campaigns, from advert through to appointment, ensuring a positive and inclusive candidate experience.
- Providing expert advice and guidance to managers on recruitment best practice, policy, compliance and values-based selection.
- Supporting the onboarding journey, working with managers and corporate teams
- Providing day-to-day leadership and coaching to a small team, setting clear priorities, monitoring KPIs and role-modelling high standards of customer service and professionalism
Main duties of the job

- Provide day-to-day leadership of the team, ensuring delivery of an effective, customer-focused recruitment service.
- Continuously review and prioritise workloads to meet divisional demand and performance targets.
- Recruit, train and develop staff, including appraisals, objective setting and personal development planning.
- Develop effective team working and strong relationships across the Trust through open communication and constructive feedback.
- Ensure effective communication systems are in place so the team remains informed of Trust developments.
- Develop attraction and selection approaches to support recruitment and retention of temporary and substantive staff.
- Support resourcing plans and lead on specific recruitment campaigns, ensuring a sustainable pipeline of candidates.

- • Educated to HR / business degree level, or equivalent academic standard / experience
- • Certificate in HR Practice (CHRP / CPP) or equivalent level of experience
