Are you highly organised, customer-focused, and looking for a rewarding role within a supportive healthcare environment? We are seeking a motivated Private Patient Finance Administrator to join our friendly and professional team at our Greenwood offices in Ascot.

In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for our private patients, while providing essential administrative support to the Private Patient Finance Team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Securing upfront payments for private outpatient appointments

  • Providing accurate and timely administrative support to the Private Patient Finance Team

  • Ensuring patient documentation and data entry meet Trust standards and compliance requirements

  • Delivering a high standard of customer service to patients, clinicians, and internal and external colleagues

  • Working flexibly and proactively to support changing workloads and team priorities

  • You are organised, detail-oriented, and confident handling sensitive information

  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment

Main duties of the job

  • The post holder will be responsible for ensuring payment is taken upfront for private outpatient appointments. 

  • To provide an efficient office and general administrative service to support the Private Patient Finance Team 

  • To ensure that Trust standards are adhered to in relation to all patient documentation and data input. 

  • To work flexibly to meet the needs of a changing workload and service. 

  • The post holder will be required to offer very high customer service skills for patients and both internal and external staff.

  • GCSE or NVQ Level 2 Maths & English or equivalent

Experience

  • Proven customer service experience.
  • Previous office / administration experience.
Desirable criteria
  • Private Sector / NHS Healthcare experience.

Skills

Essential criteria
  • Word processing skills, Microsoft, Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
  • Excellent IT / keyboard skills including data base entry
Desirable criteria
  • Knowledge of Hospital Systems EPIC.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
