We are delighted to offer three substantive positions at St Helier and Epsom Hospitals. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team and make a meaningful impact in a supportive and progressive environment.

Working hours (to be confirmed at interview):

  • St Helier Pharmacy Inpatients Department: 15 hours per week

  • St Helier Pharmacy Outpatients Department: 17 hours per week

  • Epsom Pharmacy Department: 19.25 hours per week

About the role:

  • Work within a busy dispensary supporting an efficient medicines supply service

  • Engage directly with patients to assist with medicines reconciliation and dispensing processes

  • Collaborate with a friendly, patient-focused pharmacy team

Essential requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services

  • Previous experience with pharmacy dispensing systems

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong customer care skills

  • Passion for patient care

Main duties of the job

The successful candidates must be proficient in the use of a computer, have proven organisational skills, and demonstrate excellent attention to detail. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be working closely with the multi-disciplinary team.

You will play a key role in supporting medicines dispensing and management across our sites. Responsibilities will include preparing medicines for patients, carrying out general housekeeping, filing, and receptionist duties, as well as undertaking daily stock checks.

To be considered, candidates must hold an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or an equivalent recognised qualification. Previous hospital experience is desirable, and a willingness to learn, enthusiasm for new challenges, and a patient-focused attitude are key.
