Main duties of the job

You will work closely with Service Managers, Clinical Office Team Leader, Appointments Centre, Clinical Office Staff, Outpatient teams and Diagnostic and Therapy Departments across all specialties within the division to ensure patients are actively managed through patient pathways.

The role will involve monitoring patient’s pathways from referral, through diagnostics, treatment planning and treatment, highlighting any potential delays in the pathway and ensuring accurate data collection to support the process and report to clinical offices any discrepancies

You will need to ensure that appropriate requests for investigations are monitored following the clinician’s instructions. If diagnostic delays occur or appear imminent, you will liaise with the relevant service for action.
