Clinical Nurse Specialist Colposcopy

Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to become part of the Gynaecology Department based at Crawley Hospital.

We are seeking either a Nurse Colposcopist who is trained to join our team,  or a current band 6 nurse currently working in Gynaecology who is willing to  train and become a Colposcopy nurse. On completion of  the training you will progress to a band 7.  The Nurse will work alongside the multi disciplinary team to deliver a responsive and compassionate service that adheres to Nation and Local guidelines.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Nurse colposcopist or  trainee to join our dynamic colposcopy team.

In this role you will practice independently as a BSCCP-accredited nurse colposcopist. You will work closely with the lead Nurse for the unit.

Your duties will include, managing your own case load of patients , offering support to patients and their families and practicing within the guidelines.
