Job overview
This role is an integral part of the Education Training Team, working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver key elements of the Trust’s statutory and mandatory training programme. The post holder will routinely deliver Moving & Handling, First Aid at Work training, with the opportunity to support the delivery of Basic Life Support, Personal Safety and Breakaway training where required.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering excellent statutory and mandatory practical training. Who can demonstrate the ability to deliver our curriculum through engagement with their audience. This role is based at our West Park Epsom venue with the requirement to travel to our other training venues in Leatherhead and Chertsey. There will be occasional requirements to deliver Ad-Hoc training at SABP sites across Surrey.

Essential criteria
- ROSPA Level 3 Award in Moving and Handling Training, or a commitment to work towards the qualification
- Advanced First Aid Instructor Award or willingness to work towards
Desirable criteria
- Level 3 Training Qualification (e.g. AET, PTTLS)
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience delivering statutory and mandatory training, ideally within the NHS or similar environment
- Experience supporting Moving and Handling training delivery
Desirable criteria
- Experience delivering First Aid at Work training
