Junior sister/charge nurse
Band 6
G5 is our current endocrinology ward.
We are looking for a band 6 Sister/ Charge Nurse who is keen to develop their leadership and management skills and will be committed to ensuring high standards of nursing care.
Opportunities include a range of clinical skills, advance care planning, identification and treatment of the deteriorating patient, care of the palliative patient and much more. We are a positive and progressive unit who prides ourselves in high levels of patient care and satisfaction.
The nursing team works as part of the multidisciplinary team which incorporates OT, Physiotherapists, doctors, pharmacist, discharge coordinators and specialist nurses, we all work towards ensuring our patients are medically well and have a safe and effective discharge to their places of residence.
The role of the band 6 Nurse will be to provide leadership, support and guidance to the ward team as a whole, and ensuring quality and safety standards are achieved.
