Rotational Band 6-7 Progression Diploma Pharmacist
Band 6-7 progression post
Trosolwg o'r swydd
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed pharmacist to join our Frimley Park Hospital Clinical Pharmacy team.
We have a structured rotational training programme which includes but is not restricted to general surgery, orthopaedics, elderly care, acute medicine, endocrinology, respiratory medicine and dispensary services amongst others.
We have the regional Medicines Information specialist pharmacy unit, and our pharmacists have the opportunity to complete training in this field, as well as in other specialist fields such as paediatrics, antimicrobial stewardship, parenteral nutrition and haematology.
Successful candidates will work closely with and be supported by our divisional and service lead pharmacists during all rotations.
Training and development of successful candidates is further supported by enrolment on a fully funded academic diploma.
The diploma is completed over 3 years and includes the opportunity to become an Independent Prescribing Pharmacist.
Progression from a band 6 to a band 7 post is automatic once relevant milestones have been achieved.
The successful candidate will have the patient at the centre of all they do, possess strong communication skills and work well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
They will need to be organised, well-motivated and have excellent people skills, as well as the ability to use initiative and adapt quickly to new situations.
