Visa Sponsorship:
This position is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Applicants must already hold the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the contract.

Main duties of the job

  • Assisting physiotherapists with a range of patients across the general medical wards.
  • Taking a caseload of patients following prescribed exercises and mobility plans set up by the physiotherapist.
  • Supporting the team with non clinical admin tasks, including management of equipment, cleaning and computer tasks such as stats and audits.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • GCSE or equivalent in numeracy and literacy
Desirable criteria
  • Understands confidentiality
  • Knowledge of some medical conditions.
  • Understanding the physiotherapy role within the multidisciplinary team.

Experience

  • To have previous contact in a working environment with the general public
Desirable criteria
  • Previous employment within the healthcare setting.

  • Interpersonal skills to include concise and effective verbal and written communication.
  • Be able to think logically and problem solve.
  • Organisational skills.
