Job overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Associate Director to lead the operational delivery of the Northeast Hampshire Adult Neighbourhood Mental Health Services while driving Trust-wide service development and improvement.
This is a senior leadership role combining operational management, strategic planning, and service transformation. You will work closely with local partners, Primary Care Networks, and people with lived experience to improve outcomes, reduce inequalities, and support the national strategy for neighbourhood health and the NHS 10 year Plan.

Main duties of the job
• Operational leadership of the adult neighbourhood mental health services in NE Hampshire.
• Strategic lead for the development and transformation of neighbourhood mental health services across the Trust.
• Delivery of high-quality, clinically effective, and person-centred care in line with national, Trust, and divisional objectives.
• Build strong partnerships with health, social care, voluntary sector, service users, and carers.
• Oversee performance, quality, financial management, and workforce planning.
• Project and programme management of key transformation initiatives.
• Deputise for the Divisional Director when required.

Essential criteria
- • Professional qualification at Diploma/Degree level i.e. RMN, HCPC
- • Educated to a master’s degree or equivalent experience
- • Management qualification (DMS) or equivalent experience
- • Evidence of recent continuous professional development at a senior level to include leadership development
Experience
Essential criteria
- • Extensive relevant experience working at a senior level in a health and social care provider service
- • Extensive knowledge and a proven track record of delivery in managing a range of diverse and complex operational services
- • Extensive experience of managing people and financial resources
- • Experience of developing services through facilitating change and innovation in a multi-disciplinary team(s)
- • Senior leadership in health or social care services, with operational and strategic responsibilities
- • Experience engaging with people with lived experience and carers
- • Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and negotiation skills
- • Excellent communication, presentation, and report-writing abilities
- • Competence in IT and business intelligence
